Overview
Many routine procedures can be performed by a general radiologist, see the procedures/PAC page for more information. Enquire with the general radiologist covering routine procedure referrals in these instances.
At Western Health, Interventional Radiology provide the following services:
Vascular (in liaison with Vascular Surgery)
Fistuloplasty
Arterial plasty and stenting
Renal (in liaison with Urology)
Nephrostomy
Antegrade stent
Biliary (In liaison with relevant surgical unit)
Cholecystostomy
PTC access
Other procedures are also performed on a case by case basis. Please enquire for further details

In-person (Footscray only, business hours)
Footscray Radiology department front office - fill in blue form and leave in pigeon hole, including referral details and callback number
Interventionalist will review referral and call back in-between cases once un-scrubbed
